We are working hard to get this going. I encourage you all to put your deposit down. The prices change all the time, and since we have such a great price, you should all take advantage of it. Please visit http://www.zoescruises.com click on the red Specials, scroll down to the YVHS Class of 68 Birthday Cruise, click on the title, and the flyer with all the prices will come up.
I'd like to mail some of these flyers out to classmates were were previously unable to locate. If you can help us to locate anyone, PLEASE do. A parents address, or a siblings address would be very helpful.
We are open to suggestions regarding the cruise, so if there is something you'd like to have happen while we are on the ship, let me know.

Let's meet at the Cruise!
Not on North Main in Walnut Creek, but on the Mexican Riviera!
That's right, we have set-up a terrific 60th birthday cruise. After a hugely successful 40th reunion, we just couldn't wait 5 years to get together again.
We will be cruising in style, on Princess cruise lines Sapphire. We depart from Los Angeles, February 20, 2010. This is a 7 day cruise, stopping at Puerto Vallarta, Cabo San Lucas, and Mazatlan. It is all inclusive (except for beverages, shore excursions, and tip), we will eat, drink, laugh, dance, and have a great time, and never have to drive!
We have excellent group pricing for this, in an effort to insure that everyone can join us.
Inside cabin $625.00
Outside cabin $775.00
Balconies $825.00
Double occupancy
And if you want to have a "group" cabin: for the 3rd and 4th person in an inside cabin is $299.00, each.
A deposit of $250.00 is required per cabin, to reserve at these prices. Cruise lines typically raise their prices in January. If prices go down, you will be refared, if they go up, we can enjoy our "bargain".
Please contact me ASAP, so I can register you with Princess prior to booking, making you eligible for further discounts. After registration, to put your deposit down, or with any additional questions, you contact:

The Reunion is over!
Yes, we all had a great time. The turn out was good, considering that we did it all by email, in a 6 month period.
Friday night we had "Alumni night" at Rocco's pizza in Walnut Creek. It was a great start. People just kept coming in, more, and more, until we had taken up the whole back of the restaurant. We passed yearbooks, laughed, drank, ate pizza, drank, and laughed some more!
The next day we (the committee) started at Howard's at 10:30, setting up tables, inflating balloons, making the first batch of Margaritas, and iceing the beer. At 3, classmates started to arrive. Some people were nervous that nobody would know them, but someone always did. You'd be visiting and laughing with someone, when in the background you'd hear.....Jon Crovo!
There were quite a first time attendees. Glenna Graffort, Jon Ponce de Leon, Peggy Walsh, and quite a few others.
The food was excellent, all-you-can eat Mexican food. Beef, chicken, or pork tacos, tostadas, rice and beans. The band started about 7, and everyone danced and had a great time. We were treated to Therese Chudy on vocals, and Steve Roseman, on keyboard for a tune. They always do a great job. We in this class have alot of very talented people we share backgrounds with.
After dark we lit a huge fire in the fire pit, and we even got some of us to do the Warrior "war dance" around the fire. Then somebody broke into, All hail to thee, Ygnacio Valley High....
followed by a couple cheers, and lots of giggles.
We had blinking name tags for the alumni, so it was easy to see after dark who was alumni, and who were guests. The tags were very fun, and a little intoxicating inside a dark bathroom!
We ended up with money left over, thanks to the generosity of Scott Moran, Jim Pebley, and Dick Mobley. Thanks to them.
The next day was "clean up". It went pretty fast, and then we all sat around and laughed and enjoyed the festivities again. Before going home....... for a nap!
